Link grew up surrounded by the mystery and magic of Kokiri Forest Dark has grown up haunted by the memories of his parents' death and the man who murdered them: Ganondorf. Their two sons are left separated, neither knowing the other exists. Synopsis: During Hyrule's bloody and infamous Unification War, a young family is torn apart.There are some complaints in regard to certain aspects of the story but I can't help but praise this for feeling like a fleshed out version of this great tale of heroism and valor. It feels like a novel at some points and I am surprised it hasn't been shared before on this website. I have read this several times and there is a lot to appreciate and a lot to explore.

Oh, and Ganondorf has a weird obsession with laundry. Link is Too Dumb to Live, Navi breaks the fourth wall on a regular basis, and all of the bosses do Heel Face Turns when they're defeated.
